Perrett Speaks

Perrett is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I'm delighted to have the chance to come here because it's been an ambition of mine to play for Bournemouth, possibly for the past six or seven years. For whatever reason, it never materialised but once I got another opportunity, I grabbed it with both hands and I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth stuck into it. I've spoken at length to the chairman and manager and know they are both looking to push on next season. I like their ambitions to take the club forward and it seems there could be exciting times ahead. When I first spoke to them, it wasn't a case of just trying to get the club stabilised and on a par with everyone else. They want to assemble a team to have a good push in this league. I know everybody says they want promotion, but I'm looking for us to get right up the table and hopefully we can get a squad together to give it a good go".
