Perryman Was Impressed

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo after the match, Perryman was quoted as saying: "They looked a unit and they looked strong and confident. I know they were chasing the game a bit in the first half but there were always chances for them. I thought our back line were very good in the first half, particularly in the air. But Bournemouth took the game over in the second half. They had a shot from distance (from Brett Pitman) that hit the top of the crossbar and that gave them the impetus. I was very impressed with the great travelling support and everybody connected with the club seems to have a purpose. The team has got a purpose; there is no doubt about it. They were good and deserved to win. Bournemouth have got too much about them to go down and are very together. I don't know what their crowds are like at home but their away support has got the purpose as much as the team".
