Peterborough Reaction

Saying that "They couldn't have done any more than what they've done" is how Sean O'Driscoll saw the match against relegated Peterborough United at Dean Court in his post match interview on BBC Radio Solent. He went on to say: "We got done by one goal but we kept the ball well, engineered opportunities and maybe on another day we'd have won. Our home form has been excellent for the last three or four years - this has been a little blip, but it's disappointing and frustrating".

Needless to say the Peterborough United boss, Barry Fry was delighted with the win. He is quoted on BBCi as saying: "The makeshift side I put together did the club proud - at least we're going down fighting .... They worked very hard, got a great goal and defended when we had to .... We've been a disaster at home this season, but we were sound defensively today, and Curtis Woodhouse did a terrific job against Wade Elliott".

Of Bournemouth, Fry said that: "They're all capable of beating one another, as this league's shown all season .... I felt we nullified Bournemouth and limited them to a few chances, but they're a good side".
