Peterborough United Reaction

Sean O'Driscoll was understandably pleased with the win at London Road saying on BBC i that: "Our football in the first half was excellent, and we looked dangerous on the break ... physically, Peterborough are a big side, so we had to use our brains a little bit, and I thought we did. When you're 1-0 up, you wonder if you'll rue the missed chances, but we coped with the pressure as well as we could, so I'm extremely pleased".

For Peterborough, Barry Fry was as vocal as ever as he blasted his side as they went down to Hayter's 4th minute goal. Speaking on their official web site, Barry Fry commented that: "We huffed and puffed, but we haven't scored and that is the failing. In lots of games we have created chances, but not looked like scoring and we have to finish teams off. There are a few players missing, and not enough of the players who did play performed like we know they can".

On the penalty incident, both managers agreed that the spot kick should have been awared with the Bournemouth boss saying that: "On a scale of harshness with penalties we have had against us this season, I wouldn't have been complaining if this one had been given".
