AFCB Chairman, Peter Phillips, has spoken about the 6-match ultimatum he issues to Sean O'Driscoll and Peter Grent - the last match in the sequence comes tomorrow away to Darlington.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Phillips says: "We couldn't have asked for anymore from the players or the manager over the last five games. The attitude and effort of the players has been absolutely outstanding, and but for a couple of bits of bad luck, we could have won all five games so it's very difficult to blame the manager for that or to see how any other manager could have done any better. We will be keeping the manager's position under review and maybe we will look at things again in another six games".

Meanwhile, Derek Holmes is playing through a pain barrier as it has now been revealed that he is suffering from a Gilmore's Groin (sportsmans hernia). He is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying "I'll play on until the end of the season if the manager needs me. I don't really feel it once I get going, but it's agony when I wake up the day after a game. I thought the problem had gone away during pre-season, but it has flared up again."
