18 September
The Echo reports that Sean O’Driscoll’s 100the League game in charge ended with a "comprehensive victory over the big-spending Diamonds". Chairman Peter Phillips has stated he is keeping Sean’s position "under review", but also in the same breath it seems, that his job is also "definitely safe"…for a further six games…this must be giving out a very confusing message to the staff at Dean Court. Supporters have been thanked for their response to CherryShare…but are being asked for more.

19 September
Garreth O’Connor, Brian Stock and Karl Broadhurst all picked up knocks in the midweek Reserves’ 0-2 reverse against Brighton, but are in the squad for the trip to Darlington.

21 September
Gareth Stewart, Steve Fletcher and Warren Feeney look set to return to action next month, making comebacks in late October it is hoped. Garreth O’Connor will miss the Darlington game with a broken knuckle, that could result in a six week absence should it require pinning. Chris Tardif should return to training next week. 23 September Cherries meet Oxford United (away) in the LDV Vans Trophy First Round in late October, apparently 22 October is the favourite date.

24 September
Shaun Maher is given the all clear after a ligament injury incurred at Darlington, but Wade Elliott misses the Carlisle game through suspension.

25 September
Peter Phillips fears that the financial crisis at Dean Court remains critical and claims it is "essential that the CherryShare scheme succeeds". Some £700k has been raised so far, but with creditors such as Barr (£500k+) and Bristol & West (£300k) in the wings pressing for their money, the problems are obvious.
Paul Morrell is the new Manager at Poole Town following Brian O’Donnell’s resignation, Mozzer has acted quickly to bring in (another ex Cherry) Dean Mooney as his Assistant.
Former youth players Steve Tate has moved on to Newport IOW as Manager, whilst Tony White intends returning to Wimborne Town.

27 September
Garreth O’Connor will play tomorrow, with his (left) hand heavily strapped. He has a ligament pinning operation on Sunday, so any aggravation will be a huge setback.

28 September
Neil Moss’ loan spell has been extended one day so that he can play in the (Sky televised) match against Hartlepool United on 13 October.
Amended licencing regulations mean the Cherry Tree will be open for sales immediately after the Carlisle game, those under 14 can also be admitted. Fruit machines and a pool table can also be installed.

2 October
17 year old defender Tim Bond is on standby for Saturday’s trip to Sincil Bank.

3 October
Despite still having a transfer embargo on the club, Peter Phillips is hopeful that a recognised defender can be signed on loan after speaking to the PFA, to cover for the numerous absentees through injury. In the FA Youth Cup, Cherries have been drawn at home to Southend United in the First Round proper, match being scheduled for Tuesday October 15 at Dean Court.

5 October
Jason Tindall faces a six week lay off for an operation to repair a torn cartilage in his right knee. It is hoped he will be back in action in late November.

9 October
Neil Moss has had his loan spell extended for a second month.
The Cherries are hopeful of securing Aston Villa defender Liam Ridgewell for a loan period.
