He sustained a broken ankle when trying to defend a Warren Feeney shot in training.

Just as Broadhurst and Carl Fletcher have been forging a good defensive partnership in recent weeks, the pair will not be playing again until the end of January, which is when Broadhurst is likely to return to action.
