Rumours abound that Fulham are about to make a bid for the ex-Bournemouth star Matty Holland.

The deal, if true, is said to be worth something in the region of £8 million. This would mean, given that we would pick up 25% of the profit, it would mean that AFC Bournemouth benefit to the tune of £1.8 million, making Matty the most valuable transfer out in the Clubs history.

Matty's value has rocketed since his starring role in the Republic Of Ireland World Cup squad, scoring a goal along the way too.

The additional funds would help ease the pressure of a Sale and Lease deal of Dean Court, and could mean that the S&L deal would be reappraised as a result (as stated by Tony Swaisland in the Sale and Lease public meeting on June 16th).
