27 June
Dimitri Brinias, the third choice keeper has been awarded a one year
contract with Panathinaikos!
The League opener against Boston United is in doubt over allegations on
payment irregularities.

28 June
Steve Fletcher was scheduled to have a further operation on his knee earlier
this week, but the good news is that it isn't necessary after all and he can
resume light training.

4 July
The revised League programme was announced earlier this week, and has again been altered, there were two games swapped to a Friday night to avoid a
clash with Southampton, but they have been moved back to the Saturday, after
several complaints.

July 5
AFC Bournemouth have announced that Michael Menetrier has left the Club by mutual consent. The French 'keeper only made 2 appearances last season. The first coming away to Barnet in the First Round of the LDV Trophy, where we lost 1-2, and the second came away to Tranmere Rovers, where he performed superbly to keep the score 0-0.

He made 12 starting appearances in total for AFC Bournemouth. The Exiles Club wish him well in his future career.

Meanwhile, Carl Fletcher will be missing from the team sheet at the start of next season. This is because of the red card he picked up on the final day of the season away to Wrexham. This means that he'll miss either the Boston United (a), or Kiddermister Harriers (h), depending on the outcome of the FA Inquiry on Boston United. Which ever match he misses, he'll be missed in the centre of midfield, already weakened with the sale of Richard Hughes, and one of the reasons why we were relegated last season. But on a more positive note for him, he has been selected as Club Captain for the new season.
