Part time under 15 coach Stephen Constantine has been appointed coach to the Indian National side.

6 June
Richard Hughes has signed for Portsmouth for a fee believed to be in the region of £100k. It is subject to medical and personal details being finalised. A 20% sell on clause is said to have been negotiated. The club may have to give Arsenal some of this fee, as there was a similar clause when he joined AFCB.

11 June
Steve Fletcher has been told he needs a further knee operation that could keep him out until November. This follows the discovery that it has failed to heal properly after the initial op in January. Supporters buying tickets for the Crystal Palace, Spurs and Brighton friendlies will be entitled to a 50% discount this only applies when all three are purchased together, all three games could be seen for just £16.

12 June
Physio John Copper ha left AFCB to take up a post with the Scottish FA and Scottish Institute of Sport. “It was a wrench to leave the club,” he said. He also hopes that he had the utmost respect for the current management team and hoped that they would get the full backing of the Board and support that they deserve. The changes to loan rules could mean a boost for clubs like the Cherries. It could also lead to the development of nursery clubs.

14 June
Sean O'Driscoll has made his first signing of the summer by picking up on a free transfer Ipswich Town striker Alan Connell. The fixtures are printed and the Cherries opener is at Boston United, provided the Lincolnshire side overcomes an FA Inquiry into alleged payment discrepancies. Kidderminster Harriers are the first opponents at Dean Court, with the Aggborough game on 4 January. The other new side Rushden visit in September with the return midweek in March. The final game of the season is the trek to Carlisle United.

Neil Young has ended speculation over his Dean Court career and has signed a year's extension to his current contract, expressing delight at signing to extend his career on the South Coast for a 9th year, as well as committing himself to helping Bournemouth to gain promotion at the first attempt of trying.
