Pick Of The Cherries - November 17th

Keeper Neil Moss will be out for anything up to 10 days following the boot he received in the face in the JPT match against Franchise FC. Moss received 8 stitches to his mouth following the collision. This leaves Gareth Stewart to deputise for the next few matches. Stewart is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "In all the years that I've been here, there has never been a time when I haven't been ready to play or haven't wanted to play. have never wanted to be out of the squad or out of the team. I've always been available and my attitude has always been right. If I'm called upon again, I'll be as ready as anybody. I was ready on Tuesday and would like to think that nobody thought I was rusty in my first competitive game for the first team since the end of last season. The circumstances of me coming on were disappointing and everybody wishes Mossy a speedy recovery because nobody wants to see a fellow professional get hurt".

Premiership Reading have allowed Jem Karacan to extend his current loan deal for a further month. The extension will take him up to, and including January 6th, which will see the Cherries (hopefully) be in the FA Cup Third Round, or possibly the League One game against Luton Town.
