Initial reports suggesting that Brett Pitman was about to make a return to Dean Court are now being played down by the management at Dean Court.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Paul Groves is quoted as saying: "Brett is someone we are aware of, but you look at the strikers we have at the club already and you would say they are very good. There are also one or two waiting to get fit as well so there is a lot of competition in those areas".
