Pitman's Reward

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo after the 2-2 draw at The Avenue Stadium, manager Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "He's shown a good attitude, obviously he's getting rewarded for working harder by bagging goals. There's going to be plenty of games where he's not scoring goals and I want him to still show the same attitude and determination and willingness when there's nothing at the end of it and he goes through a game or run of games without scoring goals. He's going to have to contribute more than just doing one or two good things in a game and maybe scoring a good goal. He's got to warrant his inclusion in the side by making more of a contribution throughout the game and I think that's where the change has come. It isn't necessarily something that's come naturally to him so I'm sure he'll have periods of time when he'll slip back and we'll have to remind him what we want".
