Speaking after the match, Argyle boss, Peter Reid was quoted as saying: "I wouldn't say (Bradley Wright-Phillips' absence) was why we got beat, I think they were sharper, quicker, stronger and we looked leggy. We've got to get on with it now as it's only hard work that's going to get us out of this situation and get us winning football matches. These lads have lost a few team-mates recently and it does affect them, but we've got to be professional and just go out there and win football matches".
