Port Vale Preview

Sean O'Driscoll was given a boost to his selection permutations as Portsmouth finally decided to let Eddie Howe stay for another month at Dean Court together with the news that both messers Fletcher and Purches are available for selection. Given that both have only just started to resume playing, I'd expect to be both to feature on the bench.

For Port Vale, they will be without 4 players for the trip South as Ian Armstrong, (calf), Lee Matthews (ankle), Lipa (ankle) and Goodlad (thigh) are all injured. Things are not made any better with the suspension of Hulbert. Vale boss, Martin Foyle could have Eldershaw available for selection as well as Walsh and Rowland.

Over the years there hasn't been much difference between the 2 sides, with results usually going in favour of the home side, and I see no difference in that tomorrow afternoon.
