Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo following his first full League debut, Marvin Bartley was quoted as saying: "I've just got my breath back. I'm still knackered, but it was good fun. I definitely enjoyed it. It was brilliant to make my full debut and I was delighted to last 90 minutes. I think I did all right in terms of covering the ground, getting tackles in and winning the ball back. When I could get forward I did and I did all I could. I just tried to get around, win the ball back and get forward to do what I could to help the team. It was important we won - it was huge - and now we go to Huddersfield full of confidence".
