Port Vale Reaction - Port Vale

Last updated : 02 September 2007 By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator
Manager Martin Foyle was quoted after the match as saying: "His [Luke Rodgers] fresh legs made all the difference. I brought him on at the right time and he came up with a magnificent finish for his goal. Luke doesn't like sitting on the bench which I admire in him. I don't want players who are just happy to be on the substitute's bench because that sort of player is no good to anyone. Luke was full of running and made a big difference when he came on and it was a big relief for us to get our first win of the season".
