Speaking after the match, Vale manager Dean Glover, was quoted as saying: "I thought it was a good performance. We could have been better in the first half and we gave away too many set pieces away. But as the game went on we began to have more belief in our own game. I think a draw was a fair result at the end of the day. Joe has had to make a few good saves and I think we could have been a bit more confident in creating things. But I'm happy with the performance they gave me and we have to take it on from here".
