Pugh Looking To Add To His Goal Tally

With Marc Pugh having bagged 4 goals before we've reached a third of the way through the season, the popular left winger is hoping to reach double figures again this season having bagged goals in the last two outings against Nottingham Forest and Leicester City.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Pugh is quoted as saying: "I am feeling fit, strong and very confident at the moment and it is all coming together nicely. I have generally hit double figures since coming to Bournemouth and I don’t want this season to be any different. I want to prove myself in the Championship. You have to be quite cute at this level to find the pockets of space because they get shut off so quickly. You have to get into those positions and be clinical. I have been working on that and it is starting to pay dividends".

On his wonder strike last Saturday: "The ball sat up really nicely after Tokelo had played it into my feet and I just hit it. I was chuffed to bits but I’d rather have not scored and seen us get something from the game. It was bitter sweet really".
