Pugh Wants To Dazzle Fans

Since signing, Marc Pugh has dazzled the fans with some of his trickery and slight of foot, being rewarded with the opening goal against Peterborough United last Saturday.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, the signing from Hereford United is quoted as saying: "It’s always nice to impress fans and that’s what I’m paid to do. I’ve got to create chances for others and score goals myself and, if I’m not performing, then I won’t be in the team. That’s what I want to do week in, week out and, hopefully, keep playing as well as I have been doing. I’m really looking forward to the future now and the next couple of games".

As for the season ahead: "You’ve always got to set yourself a target and hopefully score a lot of goals. You’ve got to try to reach your maximum potential and I’m just looking to score as many goals as I can again this season. The frontmen are in the team to score goals but if we’re creating and scoring goals from the midfield as well, and even defenders chipping in with the odd goal or two, it helps out massively and gives everyone a big lift".
