Purches Goes

Following a seven year stay at Dean Court, having signed from West Ham United in June 2000, Steven Purches has moved back to East London to sign for League One rivals Leyton Orient.

In his time at Dean Court, Purches made:
- 215 League appearances (+23 from the bench) scoring 10 times,
- 16 FA Cup appearances (+1 from the bench),
- 6 League Cup appearances,
- 11 appearances in other competitions scoring twice.

Purches will be best remembered for scoring a memorable goal in the Third Division play-off final at the Millennium Stadium back in 2003 in our 5-2 win over Lincoln City.
