Purches Has Options Available

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Sean O'Driscoll, is quoted as saying about Stephen Purches: "Contract negotiations are ongoing ..... like everybody else who is out of contract, Stephen has got the opportunity to look elsewhere. We understand the players' point of view and they understand the problems the club has so there's no animosity at all. Everybody has been really straightforward and people are bending over backwards to try to come to a compromise. Sometimes that compromise will be that they look elsewhere and sometimes it'll be that we sign them and do as much as we can to satisfy what they want. Players pay their agents to see if anybody else is interested in taking them and if there's an offer on the table from their current club then they've got a decision to make. At this moment in time, we would be interested in keeping everybody but whether or not we can, I'm not sure".
