He goes on to say in the Bournemouth Evening Echo that: "I am weighing things up at the moment but there is no rush to get anything done too quickly. I can say it would take something pretty special to make me want to leave this club though. I have been here for five years now, I love the area and I'm enjoying it. But you have to assess the options that are available to you before you make a decision".
This leaves Shaun Maher to put pen to paper, although he has verbally agreed to sign a new deal, Jason Tinsall on a short term deal to prove fitness, and Alan Connell to commit.
