Purches On His Way Back

Having made a solitary appearance up at Brentford back at the beginning of September, Stephen Purches made a welcome appearance during the recent reserves match against Cardiff City (we lost 0-3).

On his come back, Purches is quoted as saying on the Clubs Official Web Site: "The ankle wasn't too bad. It was good for a certain amount of time and towards the end I could feel it stiffening up a little so it's one of those things I just have to be sensible with and not push myself too much. Hopefully I can step the training up now. It feels a bit sore at the moment, but I have been out for quite a while and games are completely different to training so that's something to get used to. It's not 100% yet, but it is feeling a lot better than it has been and I have to bide my time".
