Manager Eddie Howe, speaking on BBC Radio Solent after the match, as quoted as saying: "I didn’t think it was a 3-0 game but we have got beaten 3-0, so the score-line speaks for itself. I can’t remember Lee Camp really making a save of any note. At 0-0 we were doing great, we were well in the game and we conceded a really poor goal, I can’t jazz it up any other way. The game was on a knife edge and we were more than competing and doing really well and having some really good opportunities ourselves, so it gave everyone a bit of a knock. It was a similar thing in the second half. We were well in the game and the better team in my opinion and then we conceded the second goal. I was thinking at two-nil down, they hadn’t really had a shot at goal and we were the away side, we hadn’t been under any pressure. It was hugely disappointing because there were elements of our performance today which were very good".
