Speaking after the match, QPR manager, Harry Redknapp was quoted as saying on the 2-1 defeat: "We absolutely dominated the game in the first 20-25 minutes and then found ourselves behind. We got the goal back just after half-time and I thought we’d go onto win the game from there. But credit to Bournemouth, they scored and then had a man sent off. It made it difficult as they worked their socks off and put men behind the ball. As much of the ball as we had, they defended for their lives and headed one off the line in the last minute".
