Quinn Wants His Money!

Even though he was not 'sacked' but sent off on gardening leave, the man who was in charge for a mere 121 days has taken advice over unpaid wages he is alledgedly owed.

Quinn is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I got a cheque in January but haven't been paid for last month or this month. It's disappointing. I've got a family and a mortgage to pay. A contract is a two-way thing and I want everything I'm owed. It's just totally ridiculous. I'd rather have a settlement and let the club get on with it. As much as I love Bournemouth, let me tell you this. When people dump on you like I've been dumped on, it's difficult to have any sympathy or allegiance with them. As far as I'm concerned, I just hope that they can get everything done because it's the last thing I would want to do. But I'm going to have to do what's going to suit Jimmy Quinn".

Quinn went on to say that: "Nobody gave a second thought about me, did they? I was told on New Year's Eve that I wasn't in a job any more. I was told at nine o'clock in the evening and no thought went into it at all. I had to go in on New Year's Day to get a letter and it didn't even say whether I'd been dismissed, sacked, put on gardening leave or whatever. I know times are difficult but I signed my contract in good faith and was assured I would get every penny I was owed when I left the club. I was assured I hadn't been sacked. I'm still on the books and I'm still an employee, which I find absolutely incredible. It just shows you what type of people you are dealing with. They were going to pay me for the next year-and-a-half and then, as soon as I was out of the door, that was stopped and I haven't been paid. They have just dropped me like a stone".
