The current manager at Fratton Park is quoted as saying about his old Club and their current financial predicament: "I wouldn't see them go out of business, that's for sure - it will not happen. But there will be people wanting to buy the club and there are three or four interested parties I believe. Someone will come in and save them. I think about £1m would probably save them. I've certainly tried to get one or two people involved down there and have also spoken to their chairman about it. It's a good little club and it's a shame that they are in this position. They get 5,000 people down there, it's a nice little stadium and someone will save them for sure".
