Richard HughesWith Richard Hughes edging closer to a first team return, manager Eddie Howe is keen for the midfielder to be back in action, especially with the enforced 8-week absence of Shaun MacDonald.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Howe is quoted as saying: "He has had a couple of hamstring tweaks. He has been feeling pains in his hamstring and then realising he hasn’t pulled it. It is all to do with nerves and quite complex but we are hopeful we can keep him fit. He has had differing forms of treatment to try to find a different outcome so this week is going to be a big week for him. He is going to get a full week’s training and we will see how he is".
