Rotherham United Reaction

For AFC Bournemouth, manager Sean O'Driscoll was quoted after the match as saying: "It's not like us to score two goals in the first 11 minutes, but we got better as the game went on. We knew set plays were going to be a problem so we couldn't give silly free-kicks away, but we kept a clean sheet and could have scored more goals. The longer the game went on, Rotherham seemed to run out of ideas, and in the end we were comfortable winners".

It seems that relegation beckons for Rotherham United as their manager, Alan Knill, was quoted after the match as saying: "You always say the same thing before the start of a game - 'don't concede early' - and we conceded two. Both were poor goals - they got in too easily, we had a chance to clear and didn't clear, and then they scored. It was pretty poor defending. After that, we huffed and puffed but we were second best all over the pitch".
