Rotherham United Reaction

Manager Sean O'Driscoll was not happy after the 2-0 defeat at Millmoor. He was quoted after the match as saying: "We didn't turn up. It was probably the worst performance in my time as manager here so it's disappointing. Everything (went wrong). You name it, it went wrong. There are reasons but if I tell them, then I just get slagged off for saying it's an excuse. But the reasons are obvious".

For Rotherham United, their manager, Alan Knill, was delighted with the win, being quoted on their Official Web Site as saying: "We played very well but I have to say that has been coming and if we had walked off the pitch 5-0 up then it would have told the proper story. We missed two penalties and it was very pleasing as the players were fantastic. In view of everything has has gone on here in the last few days with doubts, to come out and show that spirit was brilliant. For most of the week we have done everyting but talk about football. In the dressing room the club's finances are not for us to talk about, we rely on the football. We have been needing a win and a clean sheet and to have so many chances that we have taken for a change was very pleasing. The game was over when we scored the second".
