Rotherham United Reaction - Cherries

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, captain Darren Anderton is quoted as saying: "Coops at the back makes that role look so easy it's frightening really. If he carries on the way he is, he'll be playing at a higher level that's for sure. It's good it's bringing out the best in him and, for myself, to be able to get on the ball and pass it as much as I am at the moment is great. I think it almost looks too easy for him at times. He'll have to keep his concentration which I'm sure he will, but I've always thought from day one, the first time I saw him in training, that he'd be a top player given the chance. And I think the new management will certainly get the best out of him".

Of his shot that rattled the post, Anderton went on to say: "I thought that was in as soon as I hit it. I was shocked it didn't go in. I think the one beforehand when it came back to me from Bradders' cross - I think I somehow bounced it into the ground and it went over - I should've scored that one. But the one that hit the post was a bit frustrating".
