Rovers Reaction - Cherries

Manager Jimmy Quinn was naturally delighted with the win over Bristol Rovers. He is quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "We played a decent side who have been free scoring. Their manager has just got the manager of the month award, but maybe that was a kiss of death! We had to play well to beat them and every player to a man did exactly that. We looked decent and looked good up front. I put Lee back up there and I thought he was tremendous. I have praise for all the lads though because they all did well. We had to defend for the last ten minutes after Lee got sent off, but we did that well too. I changed all the set plays and felt we looked far more dangerous, so I was delighted to get a goal from that. When you practice things on the training field and they come come off in a game, that is fantastic".

He went on to say about Bradbury's dismissal: "I thought Lee was unlucky with his sending off, but their lad could have no complaints because he went in studs up. If Lee had his time again, he wouldn't have got involved for the second yellow, but for his first, the decision was all wrong. He just went in for a challenge and their lad has just gone over in to the stand".
