Running Out Of Time

With just 26 points on the board so far this season, and another 26 points required to guarantee staying in League One, is time on the Cherries current stay in League One just about over?

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Kevin Bond is quoted as saying: "We're still in there fighting and I think it makes tomorrow as near a game that we have to win. Mathematically it's not that way but games are running out and we need to get some results. Avoiding relegation would in itself be an achievement for the football club and the deduction of points has made that almost impossible. With the administration and deduction of points, it's hard on you when you look at the league table and mentally how it affects you. I don't think it really has until now. I love being associated with Bournemouth but I don't want to be associated with being down the wrong end of the league, whether it's of our doing or not. Hopefully the players feel the same way. It's not a situation I'm comfortable with. While we're still in there, maybe to a degree you're almost kidding yourself that you've got a chance of getting out of it".
