Rutherford Keen To Move

Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Rutherford is quoted as saying: "The weather was so good last week that I thought I was in the south of France! Paul Baker suggested I could come here on trial so I spoke to the manager at Chester and he agreed. It's been brilliant. Everything is first class here and everyone seems to be pulling in the same direction, which is something I'm not really accustomed to. I like the football team. It's a proper, passing team so it suits my style of play. If the chance arose to come here, I would love it. I've been at Chester for five years and think it's time to move on. The manager asked me back for another week to have a further look and I think a decision will be made soon. I'm really enjoying my time here".
