With Southampton (or their holding company in Administration), it has come to light that the League One bound outfit owe AFC Bournemouth £50,000!

The amount owed is in respect of youth team player, Matt Paterson, who left Dean Court in 2006. A tribunal ruled that should Paterson make 10 first team appearances, that a payment of £50,000 would be made. This has now happened and that money is now owed the cash strapped Cherries.

All footballing debts have to be paid in full, according to Football League insolvency rules.

It is also believed that the Football League itself is with holding payment of this money. What do they know that we don't about the situation at Dean Court?
