Savi Backs Bond

New Chief Exec Adrian Saverimutto is backing manager Kevin Bond once the transfer enbargo has been lifted and the Cherries can bring new faces in once again.

Savi is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Since I've been here, Kevin has been extremely busy with the football side of things. The embargo has prevented us from adding new names to the squad and clearly the biggest hurdle has been to retain the players who were out of contract. That's been a task in itself. I will sit down with Kevin to introduce myself on a personal basis and on a business basis. I want to share the vision we have for Championship football and how we plan to get there. The players we will target, once we have the Football League share back, will be players who will offer a valuable service to the club given the weaknesses of last season. Kevin has got that under control. Clearly, there are other issues that supersede the issue of bringing in players, namely the embargo. But we do have plans to bring in the right people if we can secure their services, which we're confident of doing. Kevin has got his own handle on what he would like. We've got a significant pool of contacts and a network of people who are looking so there will be a cross-synergy of what's available".
