Sheffield United Reaction - Cherries

Speaking after the 2-0 defeat, manager Lee Bradbury is quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site as saying: "We put them under pressure for long spells of the game and at times we were the better side. We have to give them credit because they were well organised and professional, but you have to give us credit also because we limited them to two shots on target and it was two own goals that killed the game in the end. They were both good goals across the defence and we have to defend them, and they were the defining moments in the game. At 1-0 down, I fancied us to get back in to the game and gave it a real good go and came out all guns blazing after the break, If we could have got the goal then, it would have been interesting, but they hit us right on the time when we were on top. It was a huge blow to concede the early goal and then Shaun Cooper straight away. It meant we lost over a third of the team that started the Huddersfield game, but I have a lot of faith in the lads who came in and we must now look forward to the next game. I was disappointed with some of the decisions today. We had the situation when one of their lads went down with a knee injury and play continued until we got in to a great position, and then it was pulled back. It was a goalscoring chance and I don't know why it was stopped. If it was a head injury, I would have had no qualms at all, but the lad went off and was on again in 30 seconds. We had players booked for good challenges and when you are on a yellow card, it can naturally make you more cautious. The most frustrating one for me was when Maguire, who had already been booked, kicked the ball out of the stadium three seconds after the whistle had gone. Any other time it's a yellow card, and Danny Wilson agreed with me on the sidelines that it was yellow. We could have been up against ten men for the final 20 minutes and it's game on then".
