Owls boss, Alan Irvine, was quoted after the match as saying: "I would be upset if anyone said I'd underestimate a team, and especially a team above you in the table. That's absolutely not the case and will never be the case. First half Bournemouth were the better team and in the second half we were the better team. There's no doubt the changes in personnel worked but the bigger thing for me was the change in our attitude and approach".
