Shrewsbury Town Reaction - Shrews

Speaking on the Shrews Official Web Site, Kevin McIntyre is quoted as saying: "I thought first half we played really well and were worth our 3-0 half-time lead, but don't think we played as well as we can do in the second. I thought we were a bit sloppy in some of the things we did but Walks has come on and got us a fourth so it's been a good win for us in the end. It's difficult because when you're three up like that," said the midfielder, "the crowd might be expecting us to go and win 7-0 again, but it doesn't work like that. You saw there how they got a goal and it lifted them and if they'd have scored again it might have been different. Their lad nearly scored with the header soon after his goal so we have to take that as a wake-up. Teams aren't just going to turn up here and roll-over so we have to be careful. It's a shame that we couldn't keep them out but we're creating plenty of chances and scoring freely, so as long as we can keep doing that we should be okay. I'm trying to find spaces all over the park and I'm enjoying playing in the team no matter what role I'm given. The second half I was asked to do a job on Darren Anderton so that was a little different, but yeah, I'm really enjoying it - the team are winning games so I can't ask for a lot more really. We've finished the game really strongly as well so that's another positive to take out of the game. Chris (Humphrey) has come on and caused them all sorts of problems and Walks has got another goal from the bench so we can all enjoy a nice evening tonight".
