Here is what Sean O'Dricsoll was quoted as saying after the match on BBC Radio Solent after the match: "I thought we equipped ourselves quite well. At times in the first half we looked like we might score a goal and to be fair to them, they are dangerous as well. Their shape causing you problems, they have some excellent players, they are settled. A bit like Colchester, they know what they are about and they are doing quite well in the Championship - had a great result against Sunderland so they are no mugs. They have come here with a full strength side when you thought maybe that their priority might be Championship points rather than a run in the cup. But I thought we coped really well and in the second half, once we got back in the game, we looked as if we might go on and win it. It was a dubious penalty decision - we don't get them when we have claims. It's frustrating for everybody, the players, me and the supporters. And then we had a go and Josh, who otherwise was excellent, just made a mistake and he [Freddy Eastwood] is lethal. I don't think anyone can say that the linesman didn't see it [the penalty] because I asked him so obviously it was a referee's decision".
