Star Players Staying Put

With the obvious reference to the likes of Marc Pugh to a move away from Dean Court, AFC Bournemouth have sounded a warning to any Club wishing to tempt anyone with a move away from Dean Court - HANDS OFF!

Cherries Chairman, Eddie Mitchell is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I think there is bound to be interest in our players because we have got a good bunch. But nobody will be going anywhere. We are consolidating and they will all be coming into the Championship with us when we get there. There definitely won’t be anybody going out. Circumstances forced us to lose players in the past but we are not selling anybody. I don’t think there is anybody in our club who would want to go anyway. I think everybody sees us as a very futuristic club and one heading in the right direction. I don’t think there is one member of the squad who would want to jump ship at this moment in time. I think the feelgood factor among the group of players is overwhelmingly good and I don’t think anybody would even consider it".
