Surman Exceeds Expectations

Andrew Surman, on loan from Southampton, has exceeded his own expectations during his Dean Court loan spell. He is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I think it has probably gone better than I expected so far. You never completely know what to expect, but when you go on loan you want to do as well as you can. I'm really pleased with the way it has gone - it has gone pretty well so far and I just want that to carry on. It takes some time to settle into the way a team plays but I get on well with everyone here and I think I have settled in quicker than I expected to".
