AFC Bournemouth have announced that they have captured Andrew Surman in a permanent deal to sign the midfielder from Norwich City in a deal which is said to be worth something in the region of £500k. The midfielder has signed a 3-year deal to return to the south coas afte a successful loan spell last season.

Speaking on the Clubs' Official Web Site, Surman is quoted as saying: "It’s been a long process getting the deal done but I’m happy to be here. From the end of last season through to this point, it’s been a little bit up in the air as to whether I would be staying or going. It was a tough time. I have been living in a hotel for the last eight weeks, not really sure where my future was lying. When I looked back on last season, I really enjoyed my time. But it was at the point where I had a year left at Norwich and I wasn’t exactly sure what the situation was going to be there, with them being relegated and a new manager coming in. I knew that if I was going to leave, I wanted to come to Bournemouth because I enjoyed it here last year. When I realised I was going to be signing, I was really looking forward to it. I’m really pleased".
