Suspended Arter Doesn't Want To Loose Place

At this early stage of the season, Harry Arter has already notched up 10-yellow cards and with it an automatic 2-match suspension, which means he misses the matches against Sheffield United (h) and the Boxing Day trip to face Brentford.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, the 21-year old is quoted as saying: "It is something I have got to try to accept because it is my fault. If someone comes in and does well, I am not going to run to the manager to tell him I should be playing. Hopefully, the team will play well in my absence. I have just got to carry on doing well in training and try to get back in the team when I am available again. I was really upset with the booking. I spoke to the manager about it and he said he couldn’t have a go at me. I have had some silly bookings but this wasn’t one of them. The lad was running at our defence and I didn’t mean to clip him. I was trying to get the other side of him and he clipped my leg. I am disappointed that I am going to miss the next two games but it is part and parcel of football".
