Citing health and family reasons for his stepping down, Peter Phillips is quoted on the Clubs Official Web Site that: "Tony took over as Chairman at a key point in the Club's development. His vital role in turning the dreams of a new stadium to reality will give him a permanent place in the history of our Club".
