After the 4-2 defeat, Kevin Bond was consolled by the way in which his team almost completed an amazing second half come back. He is quoted on BBCi as saying: "For a side that's struggling, I thought we played some magnificent football at times. I thought we were positive and we created chances. I was really chuffed with some of the stuff we played. The mistakes are costing us at the moment. It doesn't matter how well you play, we can't score four goals every week".

The Swansea City manager, Kenny Jackett was naturally pleased with the win, being quoted on BBCi as saying: "That's the first time we've scored four this season and it's a terrific feeling. When the third goal went in I thought the game was won, but Bournemouth kept going and played some terrific stuff. They dominated possession for large parts, contributed to a very good game, but it's goals that count".
