Swansea City Reaction - Jacks

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez was quoted after the match as saying: "I think Bournemouth went for the game and in that respect they put us under much pressure ..... I thought we weathered the storm well. With the way the boys reacted, I'm very proud of them. The way Bournemouth came out, it was going to be an open game. They put four forwards in their line-up and they were trying to be quite direct so we knew as soon as we regained possession we were going to have one-on-one situations at the back. For our standards, in the first half, we didn't use that enough and that's why the scoreline wasn't a bit bigger".

Warren Feeney
Ex-Cherry, Warren Feeney was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "It was a great result for us and although it is pleasing to come away from home and win 4-1, Bournemouth didn't deserve to lose by that margin. We didn't play well but we've got that mentality at the moment where we are always going to be hard to beat and that's how it turned out. I got a bit of stick from the home fans and fully expected it. But I answered them in the best way possible by sticking the ball in the net twice. I'm sure they've got enough about them to stay up and I thought their second-half performance was superb. I know it's obvious for everyone to see but they just need to start turning their chances into goals. They had a lot of possession and their fair share of chances, but didn't take them".
