Swindon Town Reaction

With goals from Wizard Wade, Jamie Hayter and Matthew Mills, AFC Bournemouth chalked up their biggest away win over Swindon Town. Here is the reaction from both camps.

For AFC Bournemouth, manager Sean O'Driscoll was quoted on BBC Radio Solent after the match saying: "I thought they put us under pressure, in the second half especially, but the pitch didn't help. It didn't help both teams - it cut up really badly and the ball didn't run true. Credit to them, they had a right go and you always leave yourself exposed when you are two-nil down. We have been in the same boat but the got the third goal and killed off the game. They had a left winger playing at left back and that was an area we thought Wade could exploit. I didn't think he would do it so quick. It was a great ball by James Hayter to switch the play and he got a good connection and it's in the corner - a good start to us".

Speaking of the injury to Warren Cummings Sean also said that Neil Young was probably closer to returning to first team action that he might have thought!

For Swindon, their manager (of the month!) Andy King was quoted after the match as saying: "The first goal was diabolical defending and it set us back because we went through a very nervous period. The pitch never allowed us to play football but I thought we had as much of the play as they did. The second goal was a terrible mistake by Steve Jenkins and it killed us off. But even after their third goal we had opportunities. Overall it was a game of mistakes. They made none, and we made three".
