Tamworth Reaction

Manager Sean O'Driscoll was quoted on BBC Radio Solent after the match as saying: "We moved the ball as well as we could. I didn't think we created enough first half and in the second half we upped the tempo up a little bit. We didn't work their goalkeeper enough but we are not a physical side. We can't just throw the ball in there because of their 6'4" centre half's. I thought we were brave on the ball and on another day we could have scored two but credit to Tamworth. They came here to do a job, they didn't come here to open out and get beat by five or six. As I say, their game plan was expected and good luck to them in the next round".

For Tamworth, their player manager, Mark Cooper, was quoted as saying on BBCi: "To honestly didn't think this was possible. I thought at the most, we might get a replay, having watched them a few times. We're a bunch of part-time lads who've had a real go, and got a bit of luck as reward for real hard work. We're one game away from the third round now - hopefully we'll get an opportunity to go through. We had to have a game plan, as we knew Bournemouth are a fantastic footballing team - if you let them play in good areas, they can hurt you. We decided we'd let them have the ball from the keeper until they were 30 or 40 yards from goal, and then press them".
